CORNISH DIVE ZONE

Diving in Cornwall is considered the finest in all of England. Some even say it has the best dive sites in the entire British Isles. But to know diving in Cornwall you must understand that the county of Cornwall has the longest coastline in all of England. In addition it's considered the most remote and most isolated for diving with the nearest city being Plymouth located in Dorset county. A rural and maritime county it is characterised by granite moorlands and small villages. Don't expect crowds of divers here for the diving, as its a long drive from the heartlands of England!

Steeped in ancient legends and myth the county of Cornwall will keep non-divers interested while others get wet in the water.

The waters in Cornwall can mark as some of the clearest in the United Kingdom visibility to rival tropical destinations can be found on good days. The full force of the Atlantic Ocean meets the English Channel at Cornwall which can make dive trips hazardous. Unless the dive site is in a sheltered location use caution and care in planning your diving.
