Ponce De Leon Springs
Description Since the state took the area over, Scuba diving has been banned! Free-diving however, is permitted.
Location Located within the the State Recreation Area at the corners of Hwy 10 & SR 81, across from the rest stop East of Defuniak Springs.

Vortex Blue Spring, Ponce De Leon
Description Commercially run recreation area. The spring is quite large and has sloping sides, a cavernous system, and a boil vent. At the depth the limestone bedrock is exposed displaying an interesting formation. This dive site is likely to be visited by large numbers of tourists as there are a variety of water-sports that are catered to here.
Location Reachable via SR 81 North from the intersection with Highway 10, to Vortex Spring Road.

Location Situated across from Cork Island on the Choctawhatchee River and about 1 mile North of Cerrogordo on CR 179 A.

Description No further details.
Location Can be reached on CR 179 A, 2.3-mi. NE. of Barker Store on a hard road that offshoots South, and then take the first road W. and go across Windmill Branch Creek about 200 yards looking to the East for the spring.
