Hutchinson Island, Fort Pierce |
|
| Description | In 1715 a fleet galleon (part of the grand treasure fleet!) sank in the vincinity of the island amidst a raging storm. The area is still actively searched by salvage crews on purchased lease agreements hoping to make the big discovery. Beach diving is also popular with the other hopefuls who cannot afford a boat or prefer to search further towards the shoreline. This lease agreement can prove to be quite lucrative! |
